Parent & Community Survey
I believe parents should be true partners in their child’s education, not an afterthought.
Earlier this year, many of you completed my first survey and shared what you were seeing in our schools. You told me that student safety, leadership accountability, academics, nepotism, and transparency were some of your biggest concerns. Those responses have shaped my priorities from day one.
Since then, more has happened in our district, including additional developments in the Elliott situation, a third-party investigation that still found systemic issues but was released in heavily redacted form, and a 5–2 board vote to extend and raise the superintendent’s contract.
I know many conversations are happening in living rooms and online, but I want to make sure those concerns are heard clearly and respectfully by anyone who serves on this board.
This updated survey should take about 3–5 minutes. It is a chance to share how you’re feeling now and how you would like your next trustee to lead, communicate, and invite you into the process.
Your responses are confidential, and I’ll continue to share simple “What We Heard” summaries so you can see how your input shapes my priorities.
Thank you for trusting me with your honest feedback.
